My name is Leon, the craftsman behind Artisan du Bois. I’ve been a furniture maker for over 20 years, beginning with an apprenticeship at Mark Wilkinson Furniture, where I helped craft their world-famous kitchens and was later named ‘Apprentice of the Year’. The skills and standards I learned there gave me the foundation to launch my own workshop in 2008 and, later, to move the business from Wiltshire, UK, to southwest France.
Every piece I create is built to last, combining timeless design with the warmth of natural materials. From bespoke commissions to beautifully handcrafted furniture, I brings years of skill, care, and attention to detail to every stage of the process.
